SDSU Twirlers

Catherine is the former Twirler Advisor for the San Diego State University Marching Aztecs!  The Twirlers performed at all home football games, bowl games, basketball and volleyball games, as well as being guest performers each season for the San Diego Chargers NFL halftime shows! The twirling team consisted of four twirlers that perform frequently for the University, and they also represent SDSU at competitions throughout Southern California. They are currently the All-West Regional College Dance-Twirl team champions!

Catherine also has extensive collegiate coaching experience, as she was the twirling advisor for the San Diego State University Marching Aztecs for 6 years! Catherine created Twirler Day at SDSU, and built the program, where over 100 baton twirlers from across the country would attend a clinic and perform with the Marching Aztecs during a football halftime show, each year. The twirling program at SDSU has developed into one of the most successful and nationally acclaimed collegiate programs in the country!
